DeepSpin is a music device designed to restore the the art of the album. In contrast to today’s algorithm-driven streaming platforms, DeepSpin invites users to engage with music in a focused, intentional way. Housed in a handcrafted wooden enclosure, the device features a tactile interface: one rotary dial to browse and select an album, one to adjust volume. Skipping tracks is not possible. Albums are played in full, from start to finish, honoring the structure, pacing, and narrative shaped by the artist.

This deliberate limitation recalls the physicality of vinyl while leveraging digital precision, offering a hybrid experience that resists the fragmentation of modern listening. DeepSpin is not just a playback device; it is a statement on slowing down, paying attention, and experiencing music as a complete work. It challenges the user to return to an older, slower, and perhaps more meaningful way of listening.
